Metro City is mourning the loss of social media personality Tiffany "TiffVibes" Martinez, 24, who fell from the roof of the Pinnacle Tower Saturday while attempting to capture content for her 2.4 million followers.
Martinez was livestreaming when she lost her footing near the building's decorative ledge, where she had positioned herself for what she called "the most fire sunset shot ever." Her final words were "Oh no, wait—" followed by 47 seconds of footage that authorities have asked platforms to remove.
Approximately 2.4 million viewers watched the incident live. Within seconds, clip compilations appeared across social media, garnering 80 million combined views by Sunday morning.
"She died doing what she loved. Making content. Going viral. She's viral forever now."

A History of Risky Content
Martinez was known for increasingly dangerous "vibe shots," including photographing herself on moving subway cars, dangling from construction cranes, and posing with wild animals in Metro Zoo's restricted areas. She had previously dismissed safety concerns.
"If you're not risking it all for the shot, you're not a real content creator," she wrote in a post three days before her death. The post has since been shared 400,000 times.
Police confirmed Martinez had bypassed multiple "No Trespassing" and "Danger" signs to reach the ledge. Building security footage shows her moving past a sign that explicitly warned: "FALL HAZARD - DEATHS HAVE OCCURRED HERE." She stopped to photograph the sign, captioning it "danger is my aesthetic."
Brand Response
Response from Martinez's brand partners has been mixed. eDrink, for whom she was promoting a new energy beverage, announced it would continue running her final sponsored posts "as a tribute." Shine Cosmetics expressed condolences before confirming her death voided the remainder of her contract.
"We're deeply saddened," said Shine's PR department. "But per Section 12.4 of the Influencer Agreement, compensation terminates upon death of the Talent. We wish her followers the best during this difficult transition to other content creators."
Competing Fundraisers
Fans have organized a GoFundMe for Martinez's funeral expenses, though questions arose when her manager, Kevin Chu, launched a competing fundraiser claiming to represent the "official estate." Both have raised over $50,000.
"She would have wanted us to monetize her death," Chu said. "That's what a true creator does — turns every moment, including the last one, into content."
Memorial Plans
A temporary memorial has been erected outside Pinnacle Tower, consisting of flowers, photos, and approximately 300 ring lights arranged in a heart shape. Visitors have reported that the ring light memorial is "very photogenic" and "getting tons of engagement."
Martinez is survived by her phone (recovered intact), her manager, and 2.4 million followers who have already begun following her replacement.
A vigil is planned for Wednesday at 7 PM, though organizers have asked attendees to "please wait until after sunset for optimal lighting conditions."
